Oooh, you make me live.

I was going to write a lengthy post about ‘not drinking’, something I’ve been doing for a little while now. In my head it was a wonderful little essay about how I thought I’d do something to do - seemed healthy, etc., but now it’s a little weird because I feel like if I drink something it suddenly means I have a problem. And all night as I’ve sat here writing and wishing I had a glass of wine, I’ve thought, ‘Oh no, since I’m thinking about it so much, maybe I’ve got a PROBLEM’. Anyway, I didn’t have the glass of wine, but I did make this comic that I thought was pretty funny. Then again, my comix are always funnier (to me) after a few cocktails, so maybe I AM learning something.

Anyway, it’s just funny to me how people deal with drinking in our society. Enjoy.

Well, I’m pretty excited to announce the opening of ‘Shit to Buy‘ over at ifpthendirt. Our brand new store features an item I’m super excited about, “Dirt’s Funnies #1″. This comic book features 87 of your favorite Dirtbag comics printed so small you can barely read them! Thankfully, they come with hand screen printed front and back covers. Also, it’s limited edition! There are (going to be) 50 numbered copies, and 13 (sitting on my table) lettered copies up for< sale for the bargain basement price of $10+$2 shipping in the U.S.

This is the 82nd dirtbag comic, done in just about two years. I’d like to get up to 104 by early January, so I’ve got a lot to do. Hope they’re good.

I’m truly sorry for this one

Ok, I’m really sorry about this cartoon, but I found this gun ad from back in the day and this cartoon sort of came out of it. For the record, I’m against guns, and the ad was way worse than any comic I could ever possibly make.

It’s worth it. So terribly worth it.

Ok! Busy busy weekend trying to get this up - yep, the votes were tallied (ifpthendirt being the big winner), and over the last couple days we’ve gotten up a ‘prototype’ site. There’s some good stuff, and some bad, and I’ll be continuing to work on it all week to make it better.

Interestingly, it’s been up for 3 days, and I’ve had 11 visitors. 1 from CO (me), 4 from MA, 4 from NY, and 2 from Texas. Really? Texas?
