It appears my plan is to write a bunch, get a decent number of people reading the stuff, and then disappear for a while. So, not that I’m back to no readers at all, I will commence. I’ve got some ideas people. Namely -
- back to a weekly comic
- monthly McSweeney’s updates and submissions
- finishing the REM list
- thoughts on running and/or home fix-it stuff
That’s right people, ole Dirt’s becoming a gentrie. Half gentrifier, have yuppie, all upper crust.
I invented that word, so BOOM it’s copywrited. Snap.
Gonna get up and go for a run, then head down to KBC. More later on the celebration that was ‘kil GOREFEST 09′.

Hey just discovered this place today while searching for esoteric REM stuff while bored at work. It’s really hitting the spot. Always nice to discover someone who takes them as seriously or is/was as moved by them as I am/was.
Ever read that bit that Buck describing what inspired “Perfect Circle”? The kids, playing that last game of football before dark, outside of Maxwells in Hoboken and being moved to tears? That anecdote has always perfectly encapsulated why I loved this band so much.
